As a Business Development Specialist, you need to manage sales in a specific area or with assigned customers to meet sales goals, using strong technical knowledge. This role is for someone with proven success in sales who works mostly independently and operates with minimal supervision

Job Description

  • Develop a deep understanding of the company's products, including features, benefits, and technical specifications.


  • Leverage industry experience, particularly in the assigned sector, to tailor solutions and recommendations.


  • Propose and specify products with end user and work along with dealers to support sales and market expansion.


  • Ensure product certification requirements are met and communicated effectively to clients.


  • Provide expertise on product lifespan and service support to build long-term customer confidence.


  • Actively work to capture and grow market share by identifying opportunities to replace or outperform competitor products.



The Successful Applicant



  • At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a closely related role within the safety equipment industry.


  • Possesses a proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets and contributing to business growth.


  • Demonstrates in-depth technical knowledge of fall protection and SCBA products, along with a solid understanding of industry standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements.


  • Is well-acquainted with key competitors, market trends, and the overall dynamics of the safety equipment market.
